With the purchase and complete remodel of a grand new residence for his home and office, this interior designer felt the echo of this change in every facet of his business. Everything went level-up. He asked us to help him convey this repositioning in a new set of branding.

rob zeelen

interior designer

As Rob is so passionate about the bare minimum being absolutely flawless, the materials, the lines and the visible structure of the  spaces he designs become the first (and arguably the most important) things he brings his attention to. We needed to represent that in his branding. Lines, spaces, subtle detail. Rob's limitless passion can be found in the smallest of things. And that story can only be told by an equal amount of love and attention in a minimalistic set of branding.

This interior designer has an unmatched enthusiasm for his craft. Every inch of the new property he bought and renovated was carefully thought out. Clean lines, subtle details and minimalistic but powerful design choices mark his work. He is one of those designers whose portfolio just breathes the "less is more"-approach. Even the most functional parts of construction as tiny pieces of art. His vision came to life in every corner of the new home/office he renovated. And then it was time to have the same story come to life in his branding and communication.

COLOR ADVICE

white space

Clean? Yes. Clear? Yes. Simple? No. The power of minimalistic design is in the things you leave out. Surrounding "white space" is just as (if not more) important than anything else. A clean simple line can be detailed to no end. And it has the power to reference an entire space, if done correctly.

communication in composition

As the clients style was so clearly rooted in his love of clean lines and minimalistic approach, we opted for a square logo. It would fit and communicate with a rectangular piece of paper like we needed it to.
The placement refers to the foundation being laid, with the logo being the trustworthy, dependable building block Rob proves to be for his clients
in the creative process.
